Don't lose a public bid on a form.
NIX reads the invitation, instructions to bidders, specs and every addendum, then lists what an agency can treat as non-responsive: addendum acknowledgments, bid security, bonds, DBE and wage forms, subcontractor listings. Each item cites its page.
One missing acknowledgment can end a low bid.
Some agencies reject a bid for a missing acknowledgment and some waive it. You will not know which until the opening. The checklist puts the requirement, its page and its status in front of you while there is still time to fix it.

Bid security and bonds

Read this before you rely on it
Verify against the solicitation. NIX flags items to confirm; it does not ensure compliance with public-bidding requirements (Terms 11.3).
Whether a defect can be waived depends on the agency and the governing law, which NIX does not decide.
